Two for One Tee
Whistler Blackcomb has always been a unique mountain town as it offers world class terrain on not only one mountain but two. As much as it has changed over the years the mountains themselves have also been the draw for locals and tourists. Their beauty and the surrounding ranges captivate adventure seekers year round. Zessel wanted to strip back the human factor of the mountains and bring back the simplicity of why people feel in love with them in the first place.

Kate Zessel
Kate Zessel is an illustrator who draws inspiration from her outdoor exploration and the surroundings that she calls home. Capturing a full mountain scene, animal or shape within a complete image is her way of recounting one of her backcountry adventures. She hopes her art will resonate with the audience's own experiences and memories within nature.
Indigenous Women Outdoors (IWO) is a volunteer-led collective dedicated to empowering Indigenous women, Two-Spirit, and gender-diverse people through connection to land, culture, and outdoor recreation. By providing mentorship, training, and access to outdoor spaces, IWO supports participants in developing confidence, leadership, and community in mountain biking, snow sports, climbing, hiking, and other outdoor activities. Rooted in Indigenous ways of knowing, the organization uplifts stories of resilience and belonging while cultivating representation in outdoor industries. Through these initiatives, IWO creates safer, more inclusive pathways for Indigenous peoples to thrive on the land.
